Troubleshooting
Are you using the correct mail server?
Please check your Server Details are set to use the server address below then try sending an email again.
If your DxS Server Details tab has send.nhs.net as the SMTP Server, please replace this with smtp.office365.com
Options > Email > Server Details.
What account are you using?
Applications (like SystmOne, DXS Point-of-Care, Photocopiers etc) should be using 'Application accounts'. Normal User or Shared mailboxes should not be used.
Remember: These mailboxes must still be monitored by individuals.
I receive error code SMTP-535
Please raise a ticket with the local IT service desk advising you need SMTP enabled on the mailbox (only available for Application accounts).
