It's important to keep your smartcard profile up to date so;
- You can perform a self-service smartcard unlock if it gets locked
- The Registration Authority (smartcard team) can reach you if there are issues with your account
To check/update your details
- Go to the Spine portal and select ‘Care Identity Management‘
- Login with your smartcard or other registered authentication method
- Select ‘View your profile’
- Next to your contact details select ‘Change’
- Enter your email address and select ‘Update’
The email address must be from an approved source, this includes all addresses ending .nhs.uk and @nhs.net as well as list of other approved domains.
⚠️ If your identity details such as name, date of birth, National Insurance Number, Passport Number, Driving Licence number are incorrect or missing; report this to the Registration Authority.
