Where required an audit of nomination changes can be requested (NHS Digital staff advised this is called a "nomination audit report" when the region was deploying EPS).
These can be useful where a patient is experiencing their nomination changing unexpectedly and should advise which services have made the changes and when.
These can be raised via [email protected] or [email protected] Confirmed by NHS England 10 May 2024; however, they advise "There is no “official” procedure as such in regard to patient nomination audits as they are provided on a best endeavours basis."
If the audit is not received, suggest patient themselves submit a Subject Access Request for nomination audit between the dates of concern; making supplying the audit a statutory duty under GDPR.
